Our 'Little Dragons' Sunday school activities are taking place differently under COVID-19, with Megan, our children's church co-ordinator, currently running online forums for teenagers and providing home activities for younger children each Sunday.

For more details please contact the parish office

Little Dragons' is St Margaret's popular and growing Sunday School & Music Group, with membership currently from nursery age to 8 years, but planning for expansion to include older members.  Newcomers & visitors welcome any time.  Each Sunday, these younger members of our congregation are gathered for a prayer at the front of Church, before being led across to Antioch House for activities, crafts and music based on the Bible theme for that week.  (They also have a drink and a biscuit whilst listening to a story.)  On their return to Church (at the Offertory) the Little Dragons go and sit together in the choir stalls, where they have a close-up view of the Eucharistic Prayer, and enjoy joining in singing the Sanctus and Agnus Dei.  They are then collected by parents on their way up to Communion.

(Recent activities have included: baking bread, making clay pots, giant hand-print tree, potting bulbs and creating a large-scale Easter Garden.)

Two or three times a term, we have a 'Dragon Service': the Little Dragons stay in Church throughout, and play their part in preparing and contributing to prayers and singing, serving, ringing the bells, taking the collection, reading from the Bible and exploring the meaning of the readings.
