You can find St Margaret's Church at the bottom of Crossgate, just up from the junction with South Street.  We are just 5 minutes walk from the Market Place or the Cathedral, across Framwellgate Bridge and on the left (postcode DH1 4PP).  (For those who know the pubs of Durham, we sit midway between the Fighting Cocks and the Elm Tree.)  Antioch House, our Parish Centre, is immediately opposite the main door of the Church.

Parking is restricted in central Durham (pay & display Monday-Saturday 8 am-6pm but is FREE on Sundays).  Parking is also available in the Riverwalk multi-story car park, which is a short walk from the Church.  If you wish to Park & Ride, or travel by bus, the Bus Station is just a few minutes walk away.  We are about 10 minutes walk from Durham Railway Station.

St Margaret's is clearly visible on John Speed's 17th-century map of Durham, on which familiar landmarks such as the Cathedral, Castle, Market Place and the other ancient City Churches are clearly identifiable. The street pattern, too, remains relatively unchanged to this day.
